Pediatric dentistry (also called paedodontics) is the dental speciality dedicated to oral health from infancy through adolescence. Pediatric dentists complete 2–3 additional years of training in child psychology, behaviour management, growth and development, and child-specific procedures. They work in spaces designed for kids, smaller chairs, age-appropriate language, and parents-allowed visits.

How the procedure works
